Home › Countdown — Days Until
Countdown timer: how many days until your exam, holiday or birthday?
How to use it
Press "Add event", give it a name, a date and optionally a time. The nearest event is shown on the big card counting down live in days · hours · minutes · seconds; the rest are listed below. Yearly events roll over to next year automatically once they pass.
Popular countdowns
Exam dates, public holidays and summer break, end of military service, weddings and engagements, visa expiry, the big match or concert. Categories only change the colour and icon.
Days between two dates
If you just need the number of days between today and a date, add it as an event; the "about X weeks • Y months" line under the card gives the same span in weeks and months.
Frequently asked questions
Does it work for past dates?
Yes. A past date is shown as 'days passed'; for birthdays or anniversaries tick 'repeat every year' and the counter jumps to the next occurrence.
How are the days computed?
From midnight today to midnight on the target date; if you set a time, hours and minutes are included too. Daylight-saving changes follow your device's time zone.
Are my events saved?
